About Me

In the spring of 2012, the thought occurred to me that I'm turning 30 years old in about two years, and I still have a lot of things I want to see and do before that happens.  Rather than procrastinate, I plan to accomplish those goals...and that's when I decided putting things off until "someday" wasn't a good idea...so I decided to do them and document them "today" on this blog.  Read more about the things I plan to accomplish on my 30 Before 30 list.

I truly believe I have the best life!  These are a few of my favorite things: my family (especially Josh and Sophie the Schnauzer) and friends, the Midwest, gluten-free food, KKG, Iowa State, and being crafty.  In my free time, I love to share fun things I find or make with you.

I'm an Air Force brat, so I don't really have "roots" in any one place, and I kind of love that.  However, I also love that my husband was born and raised on a family farm in Iowa and has only lived in one state.

I've been gluten-free since June 1, 2011.  After years of "tummy problems" I feel magically healed.  Read more about my g-free adventures here.

If you have questions or comments, I'd love to hear them!
